Serving the Community

Reaching Beyond Our Walls

Bethlehem Charitable Trust believes that Christ's love is meant to be shared with everyone.

Beyond caring for our residents, we actively reach out to individuals and families facing hardship through ministries of compassion, mercy and practical support.

Whether it is providing a warm meal to someone who is hungry or supplying essential medical equipment to patients recovering at home, our outreach ministries seek to restore hope, dignity and comfort to those in need.

Every act of kindness is made possible through God's grace and the generosity of people who partner with our mission.

Funeral Services

A Dignified Final Journey

When a resident passes away, we ensure they are honoured with the respect and dignity they deserve.

Bethlehem Charitable Trust provides funeral services for patients and residents who pass away under our care. Every final journey is conducted with deep compassion, reverence and sensitivity — honouring the life that was lived.

Funeral arrangements are carried out in accordance with the religious beliefs and traditions of the deceased, ensuring that each individual receives a farewell that reflects their faith and cultural identity.

For residents who have no family to make arrangements, we take full responsibility for providing respectful funeral services according to their own religious beliefs — a final act of love and care.

Sacred Space

Chapel of Parumala Mar Gregorios Thirumeni

A place of prayer, peace and spiritual refuge within the premises of Bethlehem Geriatric Care Home.

The chapel is named in honour of Parumala Mar Gregorios Thirumeni, a beloved saint whose life of faith, humility and service continues to inspire our ministry. It stands as a sacred space where residents, staff and visitors can draw near to God in quiet devotion.

Prayers are conducted daily at three times — offering moments of worship and spiritual nourishment throughout the day for all who wish to join.

5:00 AM Morning Prayer
12:00 PM Noon Prayer
6:00 PM Evening Prayer

The chapel is always open to the public for meditation, personal prayer and quiet reflection. All are welcome to step inside and spend peaceful time in this sacred space, finding solace and spiritual renewal away from the noise of daily life.

Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord.
